The film is not about a hero - "The Pianist"

From the very first shots, I thought the movie would be good. How could it be otherwise, if Colonie pours the music of Chopin. Caught. A thin man is running his fingers over the black-and-white keys of a piano, and there are people standing nearby who are enjoying his skill through the glass. Then I was afraid that this was a simple biopic about a musician, but then the explosions of shells took away my fears and doubts. After all, the second world war.

Initially, I hoped it would be a Ryan-style mochilovo, but no. The Director immediately dismissed this option. You won't see anything like this. Something much better is waiting for you. More specifically, the story of Wladek szpilman, a Polish Jew and his family. You can immediately see a man of art, kind, responsive and very adapted to life. His music is important to him. Even on communication with the girl, it is clear — he would not be able to glue Kate Beckinsale for any candy in the world. And then it turns out that he can't take care of his family properly. At first it was infuriating, but then you realize this person is just different, not from our environment of people who are used to living permanently and thinking only about their own skin.

Soon the action becomes more interesting, especially after the fascists wreak havoc. They showed the whole background of the genocide. I still don't understand hatred of Jews. You can't do that, you can't. You look at the screen, and it's sickening to see the Germans. Maybe it was a trick of Roman Polanski, because He also suffered during the war, all his relatives were killed, and he miraculously survived. And this is just a chance to tell everything that has boiled over, so he preukrasil, although he is a serious person and will not allow himself to insert anything superfluous.

The whole movie is a survival manual, where you can't trust anyone, but you have to trust people to survive. And the most important thing is not to make a mistake. The hero was very sorry. 6 years of persecution and fear. Yes, he did not find the strength to pick up a rifle and give everyone an answer, and then with a bullet in his head go to the God who left him(although if this was the case, he would have died for sure). He just set himself the maximum task-to save his life. And fortunately, he did. He had survived. It remains a mystery how he did not go mad, without people, without his music.

My mother and sister shouted at the character Adrian Brody when he allegedly played the piano in a rented apartment, calling him an idiot. And I'll say, he's not an idiot, try to live on needles for a couple of years and put a bullet in yourself, just to not be afraid anymore. Spielman, on the other hand, is a hero. He found something to do to distract himself from hunger and loneliness. All his doubts, privations, fears can be seen in every movement of the actor, as well as in his facial expressions. Adrian Brody perfectly revealed the character of the hero. I agree with the opinion of the Academy of Oscars. The statuette is an excellent compensation for emotional shocks during filming.

Anyone who wants to see an action movie will be disappointed. This film is not about life, not about heroes, as I wrote earlier, but about a man who was given a chance by fate to prolong his existence on earth. And how it does not despite all the obstacles perfectly copes with the task.

The Director and cameraman also coped with their task well. In General, the film is very strong. There aren't many special effects, but there aren't any more. The musical accompaniment is always in the right place, it does not distract, but gives an idea of what the hero is thinking, what he feels when he can no longer say it himself. In General, the atmosphere is maintained very well. Your eyes will not be happy. They can shoot if they approach it responsibly.

Thank you to the Director for a small appearance in the frame of a German officer. I was glad to see that among all Nations there are freaks and just spiritual personalities. It is a pity that they did not include the German's parting phrase (which was actually True) — "I am ashamed of what my nation is doing!» These words say everything. Nothing more is needed. But the Director emphasized the cynicism in the character of the officer — his phrase-keep it (about the coat), I have another, much warmer.

As a result, the endless race with fate ended, Wladek szpilman received the long-awaited opportunity to end his life as a normal person. And in his place fell, all the same German who rotted in the Soviet Camp, where after the 2nd world war, the Germans were considered animals. Maybe they should have been punished like this, but the punishment was too severe. DON't you think so?

And the film itself taught me a lot. Treat others as it should be and do not complain about the fate of some things are much worse. Thank you to the film crew for a hell of an interesting 2.5 hours that flew like a supersonic train through a railway track. I did not notice the time spent, which I do not regret. Absolutely. I've watched the movie 4 times already. I'll look again. The film is Excellent, but unfortunately the status of a masterpiece, I will not attribute it to it, it is too strong in the Jewish storyline. Everyone pities or hates Jews. I am one of the former. And so that you do not think that I think biased-Put
